The Hematology Department at Tarlac Medical Center provides a wide range of blood testing services, from basic Complete Blood Count (CBC) to specialized tests. Using automated and manual hematology analyzers, the department evaluates the quantity and quality of red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets, assisting in the diagnosis and monitoring of conditions such as anemia, thalassemia, leukemia, infections, and dengue.

Selected blood films with abnormal results are carefully reviewed under a microscope by trained technologists to ensure accurate reporting.
