Services Offered

Electrocardiogram (ECG)

An electrocardiogram (ECG/EKG) measures the electrical activity of the heart to evaluate rhythm and detect abnormalities. This test helps cardiologists monitor how your heart beats over a period of time using a device called an electrocardiograph.

24-Hour Holter Monitoring

This test uses a portable, battery-activated monitor that continuously records the heart’s rhythm for at least 24 hours. It helps detect irregularities that may not appear during a standard ECG. After the monitoring period, a cardiologist analyzes the data to assess your heart’s rhythm and performance throughout the day.

24-Hour Ambulatory Blood Pressure Monitoring (ABPM)

The ABPM test measures blood pressure continuously over 24 hours to detect various forms of hypertension. A small digital monitor is worn around the waist, with a cuff placed on the upper arm to record fluctuations in blood pressure throughout the day and night.

Stress Test

A stress test measures how the heart responds to physical exertion. During this test, patients walk on a treadmill while their heart rate, breathing, blood pressure, and ECG are monitored. It helps determine how well the heart functions during activity and can reveal signs of coronary artery disease or irregular rhythms.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What is the purpose of a cardiac stress test?

A stress test helps determine how well your heart functions during exercise and can reveal blockages or irregular rhythms that may not appear at rest.

How is a Holter monitor different from an ECG?

An ECG captures your heart activity at one point in time, while a Holter monitor records it continuously for 24 hours to detect irregular patterns.

Who should undergo 24-hour blood pressure monitoring?

Patients with fluctuating blood pressure, suspected hypertension, or treatment-resistant high blood pressure are advised to undergo ABPM.

How long does an ECG take?

A standard ECG takes about 5 to 10 minutes, is painless, and provides instant results reviewed by your cardiologist.

When should I see a cardiologist?

If you experience chest pain, shortness of breath, dizziness, or irregular heartbeats, you should schedule a consultation with a cardiologist for early diagnosis and care.
