BLOOD STATION
The Blood Station Section performs the compatibility between the patient requiring transfusion and the unit of blood to be transfused. Patient samples are tested for ABO and Rh Type, cross matching and direct anti-globulin test. Blood transfusion protocols are established to ensure the orderly and accurate processing and issuance of blood products. This station following the National Voluntary Blood Service Program (NVBSP) by the Government. Member of the Tarlac Blood Service Network
